Poised to drive profitability and sustainability, Järkeborn aims to solidify Nimlas Group as a leader in the Nordic installation industry.
Effective January 1, 2025, Christoffer Järkeborn will step into the role of CEO at Nimlas Group, a prominent player in the Nordic technical installation and service sector. Currently serving as Deputy CEO of Nimlas Group and CEO of Sandbäckens, Järkeborn succeeds Mikael Matts, who will transition to the Board of Directors. This leadership shift marks a new phase in Nimlas Group’s journey toward sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Established as a major force in the Nordics, Nimlas Group employs over 4,500 people across 130 locations in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. The company has experienced rapid growth since 2021, expanding from generating $140 million in revenue to overseeing over 130 entrepreneurially driven companies. In 2024, Nimlas is projected to achieve $770 million in pro forma revenue, a testament to its steady profitability and robust operational framework.
Chairman Johan Karlström attributed the company’s success to its strong governance, operational excellence, and dynamic leadership. He emphasized that Järkeborn, who joined Nimlas in 2022, has been instrumental in fostering team cohesion and enhancing business outcomes.
Järkeborn expressed enthusiasm for his upcoming role, outlining a vision centered on profitability and operational efficiency. “I am honored to lead Nimlas Group during this pivotal time and will focus on driving growth, enhancing operational capacity, and solidifying our position as the most profitable and sustainable installation group in the Nordics,” he stated.
Fredrik Brynildsen of KLAR Partners, Nimlas Group’s majority owner, echoed these sentiments, highlighting Järkeborn’s leadership as key to achieving the group’s ambitious revenue and EBITA targets. Brynildsen praised outgoing CEO Mikael Matts for steering the company through a period of exponential growth and laying the groundwork for continued success.
Matts, who has led the company through its transformative expansion, reflected on the collective efforts of the Nimlas teams across Sweden, Finland, and Norway. “It has been a privilege to guide Nimlas Group during this exciting period of growth. I look forward to supporting the company’s continued success from my new role on the Board,” he shared.
With Järkeborn at the helm, Nimlas Group is set to embark on a new chapter of innovation, profitability, and sustainability. Backed by a foundation of entrepreneurial excellence and strong leadership, the company is poised to reinforce its status as a leader in the Nordic installation industry.
